About The Position

The Recreation Aquatics Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of a professional and comprehensive aquatics program to meet the needs of the Mount Pleasant community. Duties include the facility management of two indoor aquatic facilities, implementation of diverse aquatics programs, supervision and training of full-time and part-time staff and administrative responsibilities for the aquatics program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or related field with 3 years of supervisory experience in aquatics facility management and programming; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of drug screen and various background investigations which may include criminal history, driving record, credit report, employment history, education verification, and personal references.
  • Some positions include a comprehensive physical.
