About The Position

We need you to fill the role of an Aquatics Attendant. This is a Seasonal, Non-Exempt position. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:

Assist lifeguards with pool cleaning such as brushing or vacuuming the pool. Sweep and power wash pool deck as necessary.
Pick up items left behind including but not limited to towels, goggles, sunglasses.
Ensure outdoor pool house bathrooms are cleaned, stocked, and ready for use. Rearrange and organize pool furniture in a neat fashion.

Pick up debris from around the tables, floors, counters, and deck areas.
Clean tables, counters and floor space throughout shift as necessary. Ensure entire aquatics area is cleaned before leaving.
Provide positive and enthusiastic customer service to all members and guests.
Prior to opening, make sure all food and materials are in stock and prepped in the concession stand. Serve food and beverages according to customer orders.
Record and process the orders in our computerized system, present bill to customer, collect payment and complete sale.
Ensure napkins, cutlery, straws etc. are made available at each table or upon customers demand. Take an inventory of items, as needed and report to supervisor.

Requirements

• Current Texas food handlers’ certification.
• Current American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric CPR, First Aid, AED Certification (Within 60 days of hire)
• Must be at least fifteen (15) years of age
• Excellent organizational, time management and decision-making skills are required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
