TAT Technologies is looking for qualified APU Assembly Technician . APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) is a turbine engine utilized on the aircraft to provide electrical and pneumatic power during periods when the main engines are not running. The following is a list of job duties that an APU Assembly Technician will perform: Responsible for the assembly, testing, and travelers related to LRUs, components, parts and tools. Secondary responsibilities consist of disassembly, cleaning, analytical inspection, rework schemes, painting, packaging, and other duties as assigned. Read and interprets maintenance manuals, or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform the assigned task. Replaces or repairs damaged or worn engine parts and component parts using general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools and precision measuring equipment. Assembles components with same tools and equipment. Maintains work areas and tools in a clean and organized manner, practices proper tool and FOD control. Accurately complete work orders, BOMs, data inputs within ERP system. Reads and understands Commercial, FAA, EASA, Repair Station, and ISO documentations and other related materials. Operates, maintains and services specialized equipment. Other duties as assigned.
