About The Position

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare across diverse clinical settings in the United States. This position involves comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic health conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practice. Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted APRN licensure in the United States.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Anesthetist, or Nurse Midwife by a recognized certifying body.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
  • Additional certifications relevant to specialty area (e.g., family practice, pediatrics, geriatrics).
  • Demonstrated leadership or preceptorship experience.
  • Advanced training in patient education, health promotion, or chronic disease management.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate within scope of practice.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options to empower informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with clinical guidelines and best practices.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Advocate for patients’ needs and facilitate referrals to community resources and support services.
