Our Pulmonary practice in Lakeland is seeking a full-time, salaried Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a busy clinic-based practice. Hours for appointments are, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (or until all patients are seen). Weekend call coverage and hospital rounding may be requested. Previous experience as a nurse practitioner with a background in Pulmonary, Medical Surgery, ER, or ICU is preferred. Important skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as a keen attention to detail. The practitioner will practice under the direction of our Pulmonary physicians to provide essential duties such as but not limited to: Maintain and update progress notes in a timely manner Perform H&Ps Write orders for medications or tests Assess and diagnose acute and chronic illness Certification Requirements: Adult and BLS certifications are required. APRN/PA board certification is required.
