Welder Overview: Embark on an exciting journey as a Welder, where you'll work under a qualified trade Journeyman to learn how to fuse fabricated components to create robust structural forms. Your learning experience will include assembling vital pieces that form the backbone of our projects. Safety takes center stage in this role, as any oversight in executing essential tasks could pose risks to our team and the wider community. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be physically capable of performing construction work

Nice To Haves

High School Trade preparatory classes
Mathematics and/or Drafting classes
Familiarity and exposure to construction

Responsibilities

Assembly and welding applying learned welding techniques.
Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
Bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
Set up equipment and welds parts, using arc welding equipment.
May assemble parts by bolting.
May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts using cutting torch, straightening press and other hand tools.
The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
