About The Position

Lithia Ford Lincoln of Boise Now hiring: Apprentice Technicians! Our Service Department is growing and we are looking for a few apprentice technicians who are interested in continuing their career in automotive. Minimum of 1-2 years of technician experience is preferred but not required as we are willing to train individuals who are coachable and driven, eager and willing learn, and motivated to do more and produce more and grow with the company! Pay Range: $17.00-$21.00 flat rate hour depending on experience Service Department is Open: M-F from 7-6 and Saturdays 7-5 Responsibilities: The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards while ensuring customer satisfaction. Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards. Diagnose cause of malfunction. Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements. Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work. Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures. Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools. Qualifications: Prior automotive repair experience, preferred but not required - we love to train individuals who are coachable, driven, and eager to learn! Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
