Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Strong understanding of Electrical and Building Codes Able to read and understand prints, schematics & technical documents Communication and organizational skills Participate in safety meetings & toolbox meetings Take direction from site supervision and provide constructive feedback Complete daily reports with accurate descriptions of work and material used Understand and complete QAQC documents Be responsible for materials, tools, and appropriate paperwork. Work professionally together with and coordinate with other trades, general contractors, owners, and engineers. Must always work safely and comply with state, company and site-specific safety rules and regulations. Candidates will posses the following: Licensed Electrician certification (Required) Registered Apprentice with the state Driver's license with clean abstract (Required) Experience with industrial installations Cable tray installations – ladder Tray Cable Transformer placement & connection Grounding & Bonding Control and Communication systems including fiber optical systems High voltage cable installation and termination kits 25kV Must be self-motivated and can motivate others to maintain schedules and production Must be able to take directions Posses good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills Must be able to work well with others Project tasks include but are not limited to: working outdoors in all weather elements, physical labour, underground installations (trenching), pulling/strapping cable, cable terminations, installation of cable trays, motor control centres, PLC terminations, HV/LV terminations and control work
