About The Position
Start your career in the electrical industry with Torgeson Electric Company. As an apprentice electrician, you'll work closely with skilled electricians on various job sites, gaining hands on experience to build a solid foundation in this trade.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively Communicate
- Follow safety policies and procedures at all times
- PPE required for all duties
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
- Some travel to job sites in Northeast Kansas may be required
- OSHA 10 is required (Cost reimbursed upon completion)
Responsibilities
- Assist skilled electricians and learn on the job
- Gain exposure to underground rough-in
- Gain exposure to interior wall and above ceiling conduit installation
- Gain exposure to circuit and feeder pulling
- Gain exposure to fixture and large gear installation
- Gain exposure to troubleshooting
- Complete a daily pre-job safety plan for the work being performed
