About The Position
AV Specialists has been Tampa Bay's trusted name in custom audio/video and smart home automation since 1995. We work on high-end residential and commercial projects — home theaters, whole-home audio, Control4 automation, motorized shades, outdoor entertainment systems, and more. We're looking for an apprentice technician to grow with our team. Requirements
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn — experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable working in attics and tight spaces in Florida heat
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Good communication skills and a professional appearance — we work in high-end homes
- A team player who takes pride in their work
Responsibilities
- Pulling and routing low voltage wire through attics, walls, and crawl spaces
- Mounting TVs and displays — clean, level, and professional every time
- Assisting lead technicians on installations and learning job site best practices
- Terminating cables and learning proper labeling and documentation
