Suncorp Valuations is looking for high performing appraisers of all experience levels in North America and globally to subcontract with our Professional Services team. This is a wonderful opportunity to partner with a growing global appraisal company. You will provide Appraisal Reports (value estimates) and Insurance Appraisals (cost estimates), on a wide variety of building types and/or machinery and equipment located in Canada, United States and/or globally. Through site inspections, research, expert analysis and collaboration, you will develop a solid and defensible rationale for the final value assigned to a property. You are self-directed and able to work independently. You enjoy building and maintaining positive and professional relationships. You are naturally client-focused and committed to providing high levels of service to meet our brand promise of ON TIME, CREDIBLE, and PROFESSIONAL. You can easily manage multiple projects and provide precise attention to detail. You are highly skilled with MS Excel and databased. You are able and willing to travel to facilities located across Canada, United Stated and/or globally and have a valid driver’s license and valid passport. You have the following credentials for industrial related subcontractor opportunities: - Full proficiency in reading, writing, and oral interactions in English. Proficiency in additional language(s) is an asset; - An ASA in Machinery & Technical Specialties professional designation or working towards an ASA designation, is an asset. - Experience applying valuations models related to industrial processes. - A combination of education, designation(s) and experience will be considered. You have the following credentials for private and public sector related subcontractor opportunities: - Full proficiency in reading, writing, and oral interactions in English. Proficiency in additional language(s) is an asset; - An appraisal (ASA), cost estimating or quantity surveyor designation is an asset - Solid construction knowledge; - Experience applying valuation and costing models; - Understanding of building design, and ability to read blueprints; - A combination of education, designation(s) and experience will be considered. Simply put, we provide Appraisal, Valuation, Risk Management and Asset Advisory Services on a global basis, which help clients to determine assets’ replacement cost, mitigate loss, and track everything and its value over time.
