About The Position

Penske Automotive Operations, a division of Penske Automotive Group , is looking for a motivated individual to join our Business Development Center as an Appointment Coordinator and help deliver extraordinary customer experiences. As an Appointment Coordinator, you will promptly, professionally, and courteously assist customers in connecting with our team members and arrange sales and service appointments in a call center environment.. Requirements

  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer service experience.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Keyboard skills of 50 plus wpm
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Ability to interact well with a diverse group of people
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; and six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; and one to two years of related experience and/or training in a customer service or receptionist or similar position.
  • One year prior experience in a dealership; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Schedule service appointments for our guests efficiently and accurately.
  • Answer basic questions about service hours, appointment availability, and general maintenance needs.
  • Deliver a flawless guest experience on every call ... ensuring professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
  • Work closely with dealership teams to ensure smooth communication and scheduling coordination.
