A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN APPOINTMENT CENTER REP / CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CSR) As an Appointment Center Rep / Customer Service Representative (CSR), you schedule all the appointments for our sales staff, whether prospects reach out from the internet, by phone call, or as a walk-in. You are often the first point of contact with our company. Your friendly demeanor makes a great first impression! You answer all incoming calls with cheerful enthusiasm and direct them throughout the company as needed. Your warm smile even comes across over the phone. In order to set appointments with leads and follow up with proposals already presented to the customers by our sales staff, you also make at least 50 outbound phone calls per day to already pre-qualified lead sources. While you love talking on the phone with new people every day, you are glad that your job does not require any cold calling! You get great satisfaction out of using your excellent people skills to help our local company thrive while helping homeowners get the best services and products available to make their homes more energy-efficient.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle inbound informational and troubleshooting calls as well as outbound calls to schedule sales calls and annual maintenance visits
  • Ability to make 50-100 calls a day
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Good geographical understanding of both South Carolina and North Carolina
  • Phone skills
  • Awesome customer service skills
  • Organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and manage your time effectively
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently
  • Attentive to accuracy and detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Extremely comfortable speaking with current and prospective customers on the phone
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • We also conduct pre-employment drug testing
  • Any job offer will be based on the results of background and drug testing
