About The Position

You'll gain experience in cutting-edge clinical diagnostics and learn how research translates into real-world healthcare solutions.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate students in MCDB, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related fields.
  • Coursework: Biology, genetics, or similar.
  • Skills: Familiarity with Excel and Word, strong desire to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lab experience and comfort with math are helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to operate and assess MALDI mass spectrometry and/or cfTNA-based assays using human specimens.
  • Explore cancer biology (hematological and solid tumors) and understand assay development for clinical diagnostics.
  • Assist with lab workflows and ancillary duties.
  • Analyze and synthesize experimental data, troubleshoot results, and maintain a detailed lab notebook.
  • Present your findings to the Lab & Executive Leadership Teams at the end of the program.
  • Plan and execute experiments under the guidance of our Research Associates & Staff Scientists.
  • Keep the lab clean and functional.
  • Participate in team meetings and share your project updates.
