About The Position

At Senske Services, Application Technicians are responsible for transforming customers’ outdoor spaces by providing timely and safe services to residential or commercial properties. This involves using hand and powered equipment to apply products for treating lawns, performing soil analysis, and controlling insects, diseases, and weeds. Technicians also educate homeowners on proper lawn maintenance, advise on lawn and landscape problems, and determine appropriate solutions for their unique needs. A key aspect of the role is to sell/upsell additional services to existing and new customers to grow the clientele. Strong communication skills are essential for providing product/service information and resolving customer concerns onsite. While experience is valued, Senske Services also provides comprehensive training and support from talented colleagues and the leadership team. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with Barnes Quality Pest Control in Bend, OR, which Senske Services recently acquired.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded)
At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle)
Committed to safety and use of all the proper PPE the job requires
Friendly and dedicated to great customer service
Ability to prioritize, multitask, work independently and as part of a crew
Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Possess Strong Problem-Solving Abilities
Encourage a Positive Team Atmosphere & Willingness to Help Others

Responsibilities

Provide services to residential or commercial customer properties in a timely, safe manner
Use hand and powered equipment to apply products to treat customers' lawns
Perform soil analysis
Control insects, diseases, and unsightly weeds
Educate homeowners on proper lawn maintenance
Advise on lawn and landscape problems
Determine appropriate solutions for their unique needs
Sell/upsell additional services to existing and new customers resulting in the growth of our clientele
Provide customers with product / service information
Resolve customer concerns onsite
