About The Position

At Senske Services, Application Technicians are responsible for providing services to residential or commercial customer properties in a timely and safe manner. This involves using hand and powered equipment to apply products to treat customers' lawns. The role includes performing soil analysis, controlling insects, diseases, and unsightly weeds. Application Technicians also educate homeowners on proper lawn maintenance, advise on lawn and landscape problems, and determine appropriate solutions for their unique needs. They are expected to use their expert knowledge to sell/upsell additional services to existing and new customers, contributing to clientele growth. Strong communication skills are essential for providing customers with product/service information and resolving concerns onsite. Senske Services values experience but also provides comprehensive training and support from talented colleagues and leadership, ensuring new hires have everything they need to succeed. This position is with Barnes Quality Pest Control in Bend, OR, which Senske Services recently acquired.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded)
  • At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle)
  • Committed to safety and use of all the proper PPE the job requires
  • Friendly and dedicated to great customer service
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, work independently and as part of a crew
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Possess Strong Problem-Solving Abilities
  • Encourage a Positive Team Atmosphere & Willingness to Help Others

Responsibilities
