About The Position

The Applications Services Manager – Fan and Marketing Technologies will manage, create, deploy, and maintain analytics and customer data-related technology services and applications. In this role they will oversee the design, implementation and optimization of application solutions related to data management; ensure applications integrity, security and compliance while encouraging collaboration across technical and non-technical teams. This role will support the Director of Digital and Marketing Technology in the planning, development and delivery of data-related projects in support of LA28 projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with OneTrust, Mulesoft and, Tableau and Snowflake
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with Facebook Business Manager and other Self-Serving Ad Platforms such as Google Ads focusing on Audience development
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with multitouch attribution models
  • Experience with international customer data compliance and legal frameworks such as CCPA and GDPR
  • Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities, including written and verbal skills that enable effective interaction and collaboration among technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Proven expertise with database management systems, data warehousing technologies and integration strategies
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms and services such as Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience in delivery and maintenance of technical systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Professional Certification in at least 2 listed technology platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, Google Analytics 4, Mulesoft, Tableau, Snowflake, Google Ads, Power BI)
  • Project management software tools, e.g. Smartsheet, Jira
  • Prior experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Smartsheet, Meta Business Manager, Salesforce Data Cloud, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Mulesoft, Tableau, Snowflake, Google Ads, Power BI, Social Listening Tools (e.g. Sprinklr)
  • Ability to work effectively in a close team environment, providing project management and supporting technical abilities for various projects and initiatives
  • Proven ability of building good interpersonal relationships with people across the organization, while balancing assertiveness and setting expectations with diplomacy

Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Technology team with the management, creation, deployment and maintenance of all marketing analytics and customer data-related applications across a wide variety of digital properties
  • Participate in and support the LA28 and Team USA marketing and technology working groups with the integration of data sources and applications into the Customer Data Platform and other technologies
  • Identify and get scope requirements, gather requirements for the buildout of data sources, pipelines and applications
  • Manage the technologies for attribution to support digital and paid marketing projects
  • Develop and document training plans for the teams and ensure the execution of training plans and maintenance of all relevant documentation
  • Utilize data design and management strategies including data modeling, data governance, data quality, attributes and data lifecycle management, and enforce data standardization
  • Ensure the successful execution of applications development life cycles from requirements gathering through requirements definition, design, development, testing, deployment and post launch support
  • Develop and implement reporting capabilities for marketing and customer data analysis, both as an individual contributor and as part of a wider team
