About The Position

The Applications Project Manager is a member of the Corporate Information Systems team and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects that support clinical, operational, and administrative initiatives across the organization. This role partners with business, clinical, technical, and leadership stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. The Applications Project Manager serves as the primary point of coordination for assigned projects, managing timelines, resources, risks, and communication. This role supports project governance processes, facilitates collaboration across departments, and ensures consistent project documentation and reporting. The Project Manager works under the guidance of senior IT and operational leadership and follows established project management standards and methodologies. This is a remote position, requiring the Project Manager to maintain a suitable home work environment during defined working hours. Infrequent travel to corporate offices or facilities may be required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Business, Informatics or Clinical related field
Maintains education and development appropriate for position.
May substitute experience for education
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare or enterprise application support, system configuration, helpdesk role or application administration, supporting clinical, operational, business & finance users and processes.
Demonstrated experience from implementation, troubleshooting and problem resolution, change management, system optimization, supporting end users, and working with vendors
Strong understanding of application support processes, customer service principles, and issue resolution workflows within a healthcare system, behavioral healthcare a plus.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting EHR or integrated healthcare applications; prior experience in a behavioral health setting

Responsibilities

Manages assigned projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and objectives
Develops and maintains project plans, timelines, milestones, and task assignments
Coordinates project activities across clinical, operational, technical, and vendor teams
Tracks project progress and identifies risks, issues, and dependencies; escalates concerns as appropriate
Supports change management activities including communication, training coordination, and go-live readiness
Facilitates project meetings, prepares agendas, documents decisions, and tracks action items
Ensures project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations
Maintains accurate project documentation, status reports, and artifacts
Follows organizational project management methodologies, standards, and governance processes
Identifies opportunities to improve project workflows, tools, and communication practices
Supports portfolio tracking, reporting, and prioritization efforts
Assists with post-project reviews and lessons learned documentation
Serves as a central point of contact for project stakeholders and team members
Builds and maintains effective working relationships across departments and leadership levels
Gathers and documents project requirements in collaboration with business and clinical stakeholders
Communicates project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders and leadership
Works collaboratively with vendors and external partners to support project execution
Performs other duties as assigned
