Applications & Integrations Administrator

About The Position

The Applications & Integrations Administrator is basically the wizard behind the curtain of our enterprise systems (minus the dramatic smoke… hopefully). You’ll keep our core applications humming, make sure data flows smoothly between platforms (because copy/paste is not an integration strategy), and protect our single source of truth like it’s the last clean backup before a system crash. You’ll support ERP, back office, HRIS, finance, loyalty, mobile, and other mission-critical systems- keeping them stable, secure, and aligned with business needs. If you enjoy solving puzzles, preventing fires before anyone smells smoke, and being the person who knows why, this hands-on, high-impact role might be your happy place. Founded in 1936, Stinker is everyone’s first choice for work, convenience, food, family, and fun! Located across Idaho, Colorado, and Wyoming, Stinker is a family-owned, people-focused convenience leader. Led by our Skunktastik Mascot, Polecat Pete, Stinker’s purpose is to make our world a better place by being a bright spot in the lives we touch- one employee, one customer, and one community at a time. Plus, we don't take ourselves too seriously- come on, we have a skunk as a mascot! We look for opportunities to have fun each day and ensure we make decisions that put our people first. Now, what's in it for you when you join Pete’s Posse? Well, not only do you get to work with an amazing crew, but you also get a whole bunch of perks that makes life smell even sweeter. We're all about taking care of our people, and here’s how we do it:

Requirements

  • A positive attitude and a great sense of humor are a must! We like to keep things light, have fun, and avoid any system crashes in the mood department. No blue screens of stress here!
  • You’ll need to be comfortable working with all types of people, from the admins to the end users, and everyone in between. Whether you’re collaborating with execs or chatting with the team, you’re always ready to sync up and keep things running smoothly.
  • Solution-focused thinking. We get 5 minutes to complain and then we figure out how to move forward.
  • Ability to learn new concepts and stay organized, maintaining a high level of attention to detail while multitasking (there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!).
  • 3+ years wrangling enterprise applications and integrations- keeping systems humming instead of screaming.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP, HRIS, financial, or retail back-office platforms. Bonus if you’ve survived a multi-location deployment.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, ETL, and data flow architecture- so you know where the bits and bytes really go.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues across multiple platforms.
  • Excellent at communicating and documenting- so future you doesn’t hate present you.
  • Skilled at vendor management and coordinating projects, because herding emails is sometimes harder than herding skunks.
  • Must consent to and pass a background check- because how else are we supposed to know if you’re actually three skunks in a trenchcoat or not???

Nice To Haves

  • Retail, convenience store, or multi-location experience a plus, so you understand the chaos you’re organizing.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain our core enterprise systems (ERP, back office, HRIS, finance, loyalty, mobile, etc.), keeping configurations, permissions, workflows, and integrations running smoothly, because “have you tried turning it off and on again?” is not a long-term strategy.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule. Since, y’know, sometimes the servers like to test our commitment at 2 a.m.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, and evaluate new features for compatibility with existing workflows- progress is great, but not if it breaks three other things in the process.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, managing support tickets, escalations, and ongoing system support. Because sometimes “per my last email” is part of the troubleshooting process.
  • Maintain and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and integrations to keep information accurate, consistent, and timely, so our “single source of truth” doesn’t turn into a game of telephone between systems.
  • Help reporting teams get clean, trustworthy data, because dashboards look way better when they’re not lying to you.
  • Ensure systems follow security policies, maintain audit trails, access controls, and compliance docs. Since “I swear it’s secure” is not an acceptable IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to streamline processes, improve docs, boost operational maturity, and travel to locations as needed, because sometimes the server needs a pep talk in person.

Benefits

  • Competitive Pay with merit-based raises, and profit sharing twice a year- because when the company does well, we celebrate with you!
  • Access to the DailyPay app- so you can access your hard-earned cash whenever life strikes, in advance of regular paydays.
  • 6 paid holidays a year, and if you do work on a holiday, you get time and half as a thank you!
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) that grows with your tenure, so the longer you’re with us, the more time you get to relax!
  • Referral Rewards-you can earn cash by referring friends to join the Stinker team, if your friend gets hired! Your friends get a great job, and you get a sweet reward!
