About The Position

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY Lead and technical responsibility for the development of the foundation brake of new and existing programs; Responsible to gather customer’s vehicle parameters, packaging data and engineering requirements; Responsible to evaluate new program technical requirements; Responsible to perform brake system analysis; Responsible for customer reviews and internal drawing releases; Assist with technical presentations and quote submissions; Assist with meeting customer program requirement, i.e. APQP, PPAP, etc.; Support customer and plant personnel during ramp-up of start of production and during series production throughout the life of the program; Support customer engineering problem resolution related to quality and warranty; Participate in customer test activities and vehicle builds; Participate in problem solving activities; Participate in continuous improvement; Oversee prototype build and delivery. Periodic travel required The candidate will be required to work at a fast pace with minimum supervision in a constantly changing environment.
