As an Application Engineer, you play a key role in defining, documenting, and enabling Micron’s DRAM products. You are the bridge between design teams and customers, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance. This role combines deep technical expertise with communication and collaboration to ensure our products are well understood, well supported, and ready to succeed in the market!

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience working with DRAM products or technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze and debug complex technical issues
• Self-directed with the ability to work effectively across teams

Nice To Haves

• Background in DRAM design, product engineering, or test engineering
• Knowledge of semiconductor testing philosophy and user documentation
• Experience with Adobe FrameMaker
• Familiarity with Verilog, HSPICE, thermal modeling, or PDN analysis

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical product documentation including design documents, datasheets, addendums, and technical notes
• Develop product training materials, transition guides, and migration guides for internal and external customers
• Validate and document new product capabilities in collaboration with design, product engineering, and quality teams
• Review customer designs and provide guidance on schematics, board layouts, PDN, and thermal considerations
• Support definition of new products by contributing to feature feasibility and market readiness discussions
