About The Position

The Applications Engineer at Koops develops and coordinates business proposals for both new and existing customers. This role works closely with customers and internal teams to understand challenges and deliver custom automation solutions that create real value. Applications Engineers play a key role in translating customer needs into clear proposals while collaborating with engineering, quoting, and leadership teams to deliver successful automation projects. We’re seeking a motivated professional who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and collaborating with a team to deliver innovative automation solutions.

  • 5+ years in manufacturing or a related industry preferred

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify customer needs and translate them into value-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with the quoting team to develop accurate and competitive proposals
  • Negotiate and close sales opportunities
  • Monitor market and competitor activity to adapt to industry changes
  • Serve as the internal voice of the customer to ensure expectations are met or exceeded
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and project teams to develop automation solutions
