About The Position

GRVTY is seeking an Applications Developer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Reston, VA. Below is an overview of the project, as well as information on our company, and our benefits. THE PROGRAM We are a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. We've grown on this effort by providing the customer with Engineers who have done exceptional work, and we've retained our staff by paying very strong salaries, and working hard to ensure each Engineer is doing work that aligns with their career interest. THE PROJECT The Sponsor’s office is a focal point for developing and integrating applications, utilized to analyze and manage data sets, and to provide training. THE ROLE The Sponsor requires an Applications Developers (Devs) to develop, test, and maintain complex information technology applications, systems, and services related to research and data collection activities on the internet and social media platforms. The Dev shall build, maintain, and document systems related to databases, AWS resources, and associated web applications in accordance with customer requirements. The Dev shall analyze and define local and enterprise information system requirements. The Dev shall assess and improve existing applications. The Dev shall integrate existing software into Sponsor networks. The Dev shall perform system and application design. The Dev shall develop capability prototypes. The Dev shall develop and implement operational informational systems. The Dev shall test, debug, track, and resolve programming issues. The Dev shall draft technical program documentation, such as end-user operational instructions, training guidelines, system, and application configuration information. The Dev shall assess and validate database and application requirements across customer teams. The Dev shall work towards requirements to add new features, optimize, scale, or improve stability and performance of databases, AWS resources, and associated web applications. The Dev shall provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support and documentation for associated databases and web applications. The Dev shall perform auditing and compliance tasks for associated databases and web applications. The Dev shall manage, and track requirements as directed by the Sponsor. The Dev shall participate in technical exchange meetings and design reviews.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience with the Linux operating system, to include updating, configuring, and troubleshooting using SSH, RDP, and WinSCP.
Demonstrated experience with AWS’s suite of services including VPC, IAM, Load Balancers, S3, EC2, and CloudWatch.
Demonstrated experience with Node.js.
Demonstrated experience with JSON and MongoDB.
Demonstrated experience with Express or similar.
Demonstrated experience with Angular, REACT, or Vue.js.
TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer)

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated experience with Auditing, Accreditation, and Compliance.
Demonstrated experience implementing MongoDB Data Lake in AWS.

Responsibilities
