This is a unique role that requires strong technical leadership, desire to work with people, and personal drive. Applications Engineers serve as trusted consultants who stay abreast of industry and technology trends. Successful Applications Engineers effectively balance time between customer and internal activities that demonstrate their knowledge of NI products and customer applications.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be to:
Deliver test and measurement system design consulting for Aerospace/Defense customers in collaboration with the Sales team
Create technology demonstrator systems and application notes in collaboration with Aerospace/Defense Business Manager and R&D teams
Capture Voice of the Customer feedback for R&D team

Requirements

• STEM-related bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of relevant, post-academic industry experience
• Availability to travel up to 20%
• US Citizenship

Nice To Haves

• Electronics Test system engineering experience
• LabVIEW and LabVIEW FPGA, Python, C/C++, gRPC
• PXI modular instruments
• Mixed-signal or RF

Responsibilities
