About The Position

As an Applications Analyst I, you will be refining, maintaining, designing, documenting, and implementing software solutions to boost user experience and maximize efficiency. You will analyze requirements, implement software solutions, provide technical support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Education Required 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or a relevant field from an accredited university.
  • 2 years of experience with some programming languages, database management, or applications within the Microsoft 365 suite.
  • 2 years of experience in troubleshooting technical issues and providing customer support.
  • Ability to create SQL statements for report creation.
  • Basic understanding of system architecture documentation.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts and report development.
  • Experience with system maintenance, support, design, and development.
  • Customer relationship management skills.
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and planning skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly communicate recommendations.
  • Self-starter committed to achieving results with a strong sense of ownership with the ability to consistently follow through.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to an ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization to drive decision making through consensus and influence.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of experience as a System Administrator, Systems Analyst, or related role.
  • 2 years of experience in creating and maintaining system documentation.
  • Honorably discharged service veterans are preferred.
  • Proficient in various programming languages, database management, and applications within the Microsoft 365 suite, preferred.
  • Familiarity with NAV or a similar ERP system, preferred.
  • Familiarity with HaloITSM or a similar ticketing system, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure existing systems are running smoothly and efficiently, performing tasks as assigned to maintain or develop system functionality.
  • Promptly provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for system related issues.
  • Diagnose and address system issues effectively and timely.
  • Solve complex and technical problems related to applications, solutions, processes, data, and more.
  • Outline and understand system architecture, components, and data flows.
  • Design, configure, customize, and implement solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Customize, optimize, and identify opportunities to enhance user experience and functionality in existing software systems.
  • Create user interfaces and custom reports using existing software systems.
  • Extract and interpret data to provide meaningful insights.
  • Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and understand requirements/requests.
  • Provide detailed and friendly support to end users.
  • Create and maintain easy to use system software documentation.
  • Provide user training on various applications, products, and services.
  • Create and maintain training materials and host training sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and understanding.
  • Executes project tasks correctly and timely with minimum support.
  • Comfortable being both a lead or support role in a project, organizing the project effectively.
