About The Position

Join Virginia Housing and help make a difference as an Applications Administrator. (Hybrid) This important role will provide support and administration for Virginia Housing’s mortgage servicing platforms, with a primary focus on ICE Mortgage Technology’s MSP system. The Applications Administrator will help ensure the reliability and effectiveness of Mortgage Servicing applications by performing configuration updates, troubleshooting system issues, supporting business users, and assisting with enhancement initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with IT teams, business partners, and external vendors to support day‑to-day operations and continuous improvement within Servicing. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Several years of experience supporting mortgage business applications, ideally within a mortgage servicing environment.
  • Proficient technical knowledge and experience contributing to system enhancement and implementation efforts.
  • Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to research issues and identify root causes.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with both technical and business teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of ICE Mortgage Technology’s MSP platform or similar servicing systems.
  • Supporting and troubleshooting a variety of mortgage servicing business applications.
  • Coordinating with vendors on system issues, enhancements, and maintenance activities.
  • Understanding mortgage servicing processes and compliance considerations.
  • Familiarity with the functions and workflows across Mortgage Servicing departments.
  • Working with SQL Server, Power BI, or other reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Completing project management and business analysis tasks such as requirements gathering and documentation.
