In order to address the most critical needs of our clients, RSM US LLP established the Integrated Cloud Consulting (IC) practice, comprised of more than 300 professionals dedicated to serving the cloud and infrastructure platform needs of our clients. This group includes experienced consultants located throughout the globe. We serve a diverse client base within a variety of industries and are focused on meeting our clients where they need us most across a variety of domains - helping them realize their stated outcomes through our advisory, implementation and operations capabilities. We are seeking an individual with both broad and deep cloud implementation and migration experience with a focus on Application transformation and migration to lead the continued growth of our cloud practice serving RSM clients in a variety of industries and geographic locations. The successful candidate will have solid working knowledge of application patterns, cloud architecture models, leading vendor products and solutions, cloud technology trends, security design and innovation as well as experience leveraging this knowledge to benefit global organizations. The candidate will also possess strong leadership traits and exhibit a proven track record of developing, launching and operating application consulting practices. This individual will ultimately be partly responsible for the long-term vision of our application transformation practice, including the focus on developing and expanding the portfolio of solutions that are available to clients. As a leader within the IC practice, the successful candidate is responsible for developing strong working relationships with clients built on understanding their businesses, the challenges they face and the outcomes they are looking to achieve. The selected candidate will identify, pursue and close new opportunities with both existing and new clients and will provide subject matter knowledge to support the efforts of the broader consulting practice. This individual will also work across multiple client account teams within a wide variety of industries. The candidate is responsible to lead multiple team engagements simultaneously, including several threads of complex implementation and migration engagements. In addition, this individual will be responsible for leading a global team of application specialists, developing go to market solutions, working with industry leading technology vendors, and championing the cloud practice throughout the Firm. Successful candidates typically have 10+ years of experience in the following areas: Confidently speaking with knowledgeable clients on the topic of application strategy, architecture, workload migration planning and common security practices such as landing zones Acting as trusted advisor to senior technology leaders on application engineering activities Identifying and building solutions to drive growth in project-based and managed services Developing application strategy for clients that include value frameworks, application estate planning, modernization and migration patterns with a focus of using AI and automation to drive accelerated client value. Developing application rationalization approaches to create migration roadmaps. Designing, architecting, implementing and supporting simple to complex enterprise solutions for a variety of business use cases and requirements. Guiding and mentoring clients through the entire process Providing principal engineering support to various teams throughout a client’s digital transformation. Understanding common application development and deployment models including platform types (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) Executing solution delivery engagements for both small and large environments Eminence building in the industry through frequent publishing and speaking on relevant topics Recruiting top talent through your network and eminence activities
