About The Position

As an Application System Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining, configuring, managing, and supporting Colonial Pipeline Company’s packaged applications. This individual contributor role partners closely with technology teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure applications are stable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business needs. You’ll be trusted to manage day-to-day application operations while supporting enhancements, deployments, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Three to five years of experience in application support, database administration, or business systems analysis
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Oracle database and Oracle application administration experience
• Experience with SQL databases, CRM, ERP, or financial platforms
• Project management experience
• Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or other application or database certifications
• Low code experience such as SharePoint, ServiceNow, or Microsoft Power Apps
• Low code platform certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide operational management for enterprise applications by evaluating, installing, configuring, and deploying systems in alignment with company standards and industry best practices.
• Daily monitoring and troubleshooting
• Managing support tickets to meet SLAs
• Collaborating with internal teams and vendors
• Supporting application analysis and change management
• Providing testing, release planning, deployment, and rollback support for application enhancements and projects.
