Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 5 years of experience with cutting tool applications and metalworking.
Knowledge of tooling products and relevant industry standards.
Hands-on knowledge of CNC programming.
Self-starter with customer service orientation, capable of managing multiple projects.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Proficient with Windows-based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and internet communication.

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience with CAD/CAM and multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

Provide field-engineering support, advising on customer requirements and application of products.
Suggest modifications to existing specifications for improved engineering and manufacturing.
Work on adaptations to existing designs to meet customer needs.
Advise the engineering department on designs and manufacturing methods.
Provide technical support to customers regarding tooling applications.
Assist sales by demonstrating tools during complex applications.
Evaluate returned warranty tooling and coordinate repairs.
Deliver feedback to teams concerning tooling performance and suggest improvements.
