As a Paper & Print Application Engineer for the USAC Area within 3M’s Industrial Specialties Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Providing expert technical support for 3M’s flexographic mounting tapes & repulpable splicing tapes Leads product trials at customer sites Collaborates with sales team to win new business and defend at-risk business Supports new product introductions Trains customers on proper use of 3M Paper & Print products. Troubleshoots and manages analysis in instances of customer complaints Prepared and available for travel to customer locations throughout the U.S. and Canada

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of experience in the Paper & Printing industry OR Five (5) years of customer-facing Application Engineering experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) FIRST Level 1-3 Certifications
  • SAPPI safety training in coated graphic, packaging, and specialty papers production
  • Adhesive science expertise
  • Training content development & delivery experience
