About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Java & Web Technologies position for our client in Phoenix, AZ. Duration: 12 months Duties: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend APIs. Build high-performance, scalable services using Vert.x. Integrate with GNST, MT, NRD, NTR, and related enterprise systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance. Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and best-practice standards. Ensure code quality, security, and adherence to development guidelines. Skills: Proficiency in Java and modern backend API development. Strong hands-on experience with Vert.x. Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and asynchronous programming. Familiarity with GNST ecosystem components including MT, NRD, and NTR. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience: At least 4+ years of experience developing Java backend APIs. 1+ years of experience working within GNST systems (MT, NRD, NTR, etc.). Proven experience building scalable, resilient services using Vert.x. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
