About The Position

The State of Mississippi (DFA) is seeking an experienced Application Developer III with strong expertise in C#/.NET development and testing. This role involves building, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications while supporting data integration, performance optimization, and testing initiatives in a complex technical environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in C#/.NET development
• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps
• Strong experience with:
• SQL / SQL Server
• JavaScript, JSON, YAML
• CI/CD practices and Git version control
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, API development, and data migration
• 5+ years of experience in testing (unit, integration, UAT, performance testing)
• Experience working in enterprise server environments and development workstations

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Adabas Database / ADABAS systems
• Experience with z/OS environments
• Experience working with Virtual Machines (VMs)
• Knowledge of mainframe or legacy system integration

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies
• Perform unit, integration, and manual testing, including test case design and UAT support
• Develop and integrate APIs, data models, and database solutions
• Support data migration, schema design, and performance optimization
• Work within Azure cloud environments and Windows Server infrastructure
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git-based version control
• Conduct performance testing and troubleshooting
• Maintain technical documentation and support system enhancements
