About The Position

As an Application Auditor, you will play a critical role in reviewing and processing driver applications. You will ensure compliance with company policies and DOT regulations, advising on the status of applications from a safety standpoint. Your responsibilities will include initiating and following up on VOPES, analyzing PSP reports, and maintaining driver files from a pre-employment perspective.

Requirements

  • Internal audit, auditing, and data entry expertise.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements.
  • Ability to review and process driver applications efficiently.
  • Competency in activating qualified drivers and advising disqualified ones.
  • Working knowledge of Company and DOT guidelines related to driver hiring.
  • General computer and Microsoft Office literacy.
  • Ability to navigate the SWS/Driver Hiring-Compliance Portal.
  • Strong prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process driver applications in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
  • Advise on application status from a safety perspective.
  • Initiate and follow up on VOPES and advise on their status.
  • Obtain and provide ID numbers as required.
  • Analyze and document findings on PSP reports.
  • Ensure clarity of all documents and activate drivers promptly.
  • Audit all pre-hire documents in Tenstreet.
  • Maintain and follow up to ensure completion of all driver files, voiding, disqualifying, or activating them as necessary.
  • Manage Bush Leasing, Truck and Driver Transfers, and Reactivations, ensuring all documents in EBE are clear.
  • Communicate clearly via email and maintain records on the U drive.
  • Conduct UIIA database inquiries.
  • Handle IRS TINS matching and follow-up.
  • Provide superior customer support.
  • Forward silent faxes to appropriate personnel.
  • Order pre-hire reports as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
