About The Position

Role Overview: This is a senior-level role bridging the gap between an Application Architect and an Enterprise Architect, with a strong focus on business strategy and solid .NET technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in core banking systems and be adept at designing, implementing, and optimizing banking applications, particularly payment modules such as Online Banking, ACH, Wire Transfers, Bill Pay, and other digital banking solutions. This role requires someone who is business-savvy , experienced in commercial banking, and capable of leading both technical and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of technology-related experience , including supporting a variety of banking applications.
Strong background in .NET development and application architecture.
Proven experience with core banking clients .
Experience with payment modules in a commercial banking environment (Online Banking, ACH, Wire Transfers, Bill Pay, etc.).
Experience working as an architect in commercial banking space .
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Advanced certifications or training in application domain.
Experience working independently or through own corporation.
Strong customer service orientation and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and business expertise to multiple end-user groups, ensuring application performance aligns with business goals.
Proactively monitor system health, review logs, and escalate issues as necessary; implement preventative measures to improve performance.
Design server applications and define performance metrics for monitoring system efficiency.
Analyze and resolve root cause issues related to hardware, software, and databases.
Recommend and implement improvements in business processes and application design.
Lead strategic planning for the application platform to meet organizational growth and operational objectives.
Collaborate with management, Technology teams, Project Management Office, and business stakeholders.
Manage vendor relationships, review contracts and statements of work, and serve as the liaison for assigned applications.
Lead teams, coordinate tasks, and provide input for performance management.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws, risk management programs, and internal procedures.
