About The Position

Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS) is hiring an Application Analyst that will focus primarily on administering and managing applications at the stadium and other locations. Reporting to the Senior Director of IT Business Systems, this position plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards of services across a complex environment. This position will primarily be responsible for our event and venue management software, Momentus Elite, and our IT service management software, Service Now, but other application administration activities will also be required. We need a ServiceNow champion who can partner with teams across IT to ensure the platform is leveraged in the most efficient and productive way. This role supports essential IT Service Management processes in ServiceNow, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset/Configuration, Knowledge, and Portfolio Management. Responsibilities include collaborating with IT to plan and implement new ServiceNow features, ensuring efficient platform use, and promoting best practices. The position is responsible for daily operational support, administration, and maintenance which includes planning for regular upgrade cycles and ensuring overall platform stability. Similarly, with Momentus Elite, we need someone who can partner with teams across major events, private events, Home-Depot Backyard, catering, and tours to ensure we leverage this platform in the most impactful way possible. This position will be responsible for managing configurations and system settings within the software, controlling everything from defining custom roles, managing account-wide settings (like document templates, reports), and overseeing integrations to other applications. This role will be the go-to contact for setting up and maintaining the system. Both Momentus Elite and ServiceNow have internal steering committees that this position will actively participate in. Successful candidates will partner with the steering committees to build and execute on a product roadmap that achieves business outcomes. The position will primarily be based in Atlanta, GA, at the Mercedes Benz Stadium but will also work from other locations around Metro Atlanta as needed. Must be able to carry a cell phone and respond quickly to occasional requests for critical assistance. Working events at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium may be required on as needed basis. Some occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience building reports and maintaining dashboards required (background in relational databases and SQL would be preferred; experience with Crystal Reports or other database reporting software preferred)
  • Ideal candidate will have direct experience administering one of the two applications (ServiceNow or Momentus) that will be primary responsibility.
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and deliver accurate results on time with minimal supervision.
  • Define high-level plans to address the gaps between the future and current state, typically in sync with the IT budgeting or other planning processes.
  • Support and improve IT Service Management processes (incident, change, asset, CMDB) and Project Management through disciplined use of ServiceNow and related tooling.
  • Must be comfortable providing technical support at the client level as well as designing and administering solutions for the business; must also have a strong drive to develop and constantly update technical skills.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business steering committees to align application with organizational goals.
  • Work with outside vendors and partners in support and maintenance of applications
  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal skills are required to interact and consult with staff at all levels, including senior level management, and build strong relationships.
  • Vendor and Project management experience required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, diagrams, and records in proper systems, typically ServiceNow

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications desired: ITIL 4 Foundation, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (or ability to obtain within 90 days of starting position)
  • background in relational databases and SQL would be preferred; experience with Crystal Reports or other database reporting software preferred
