Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college with some related experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Understanding of concepts and techniques related to application administration, application support, automation and integration.
  • Understanding of network, security architecture and virtual architecture, including virtual delivery of applications
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and adapt to changing responsibilities and priorities
  • Experience with:
  • Application implementations and upgrades
  • Application administration and automation
  • PowerShell
  • SSL/TLS bindings; certificate management
  • IIS / .NET administration
  • Windows server administration
  • Application monitoring and performance
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership; driving a project from inception to completion
  • Affinity for solving problems and diving deep into the details
  • Strong written/oral communication and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of DevOps fundamentals

Nice To Haves

  • Enterprise Service Bus middleware administration, Linux system administration, PI Data Historian and ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise/ArcGIS Online experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify problems and develop requirements for solutions
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize business systems throughout their lifecycle.
  • Perform application implementations, upgrades, patches, and deployments in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
  • Effectively and efficiently organize, plan, execute and coordinate multiple work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize PowerShell scripts to automate application administration, monitoring, and maintenance workflows.
  • Implement process efficiencies to reduce manual tasks and improve system reliability.
  • Partner with security teams to ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards.
  • Collaborate with development, security, operations technology and infrastructure teams to support ongoing projects and application needs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, troubleshooting procedures, and architecture.
  • Some travel (up to 15% of time) and extended hours may be required
