Job Summary The Application Administrator Intern will support Jabil’s Integration and eCommerce teams in maintaining and enhancing business system applications, including Sterling SI, Axway B2Bi, and related tools. Under the guidance of experienced administrators, developers, and analysts, the intern will gain hands-on experience in application troubleshooting, integration concepts, B2B protocols, and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Senior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • GPA Min: 3.0
  • Must be available to work full-time, on-site in St. Petersburg, Florida from May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
  • Familiarity with relational databases and concepts such as tables, views, keys, and stored procedures.
  • Exposure to software design principles or methodologies.
  • Effective Communication

  • Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience

  • EDI knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in routine troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring of integration applications.
  • Support application upgrades, patching activities, and system integrity checks.
  • Work with team members to maintain vendor relationships and support communication as needed.
  • Help document application processes, procedures, and system behaviors.
  • Learn core B2B integration concepts, including AS2/AS3, SFTP, SSH, and digital certificate management.
  • Assist in creating architectural or process documentation under direction of senior developers.
  • Help interpret system instructions, diagrams, or specifications to understand implementation needs.
  • Provide general assistance to the eCommerce Operations team in supporting Trading Partners.
  • Demonstrate a customer-first mindset by helping address user issues quickly and effectively.
