About The Position

Teaching faculty at Owens Community College are responsible for supporting student success by creating an optimum learning environment, responding to student needs, managing effective instructional activities, modeling employability skills, demonstrating professionalism, development cooperative work relationships with other faculty and staff, supporting college administrative requirements, and maintaining competency in their instructional field. The applicant will be responsible for quality instruction and for effective participation and interest in the total affairs of the college. This position requires teaching undergraduates, and applicants must provide evidence of teaching potential specifically in the discipline of Caterpillar Equipment. More than 1,380 full- and part-time employees contribute to Owens' success. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver course materials in accordance to the course syllabi
  • Maintain organized records of student's activities and grades
  • Advise department Chair of materials needed prior to class
