About The Position

The Tampa office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking an Appellate Associate with 2+ years of experience. Recent law school graduates with Moot Court or Law Review experience will be considered.

Requirements

• Stellar academic credentials
• Strong legal research and excellent writing skills, as well as possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to our clients, with a client first mindset
• Highly organized, with clear and concise communication style
• Must be a self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals
• Proficient in Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Westlaw online research
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing

Nice To Haves

• Judicial Clerkship Preferred
• Prior Appellate or Insurance Coverage Experience Preferred
• Desire to excel and work your way up the ranks of the law firm

Responsibilities

• Complex Research and Analysis on Civil Law
• Draft/Edit Appellate Briefs
• Draft/review various pleadings, motions and responses
• Insurance Coverage Analysis
