About The Position

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Product Development Lead to oversee the development of innovative, high-quality apparel that delivers on our brand promise of performance, function, and craftsmanship. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with experience in apparel product development, design, or production, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in apparel product development, design, or production, preferably in juniors/club business
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, fit, grading, and material performance.
  • Proven experience managing multiple styles and categories from concept through production.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience working with both domestic and international vendors and factories.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end product development process from concept through production across assigned categories.
  • Ensure all products meet design intent, cost targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Translate creative concepts into production-ready, commercially viable styles.
  • Oversee the creation and accuracy of tech packs and specification sheets.
  • Manage sample tracking, approvals, and documentation throughout the development cycle
  • Oversee fit sessions and provide clear feedback to vendors on pattern, construction, and grading issues.
  • Maintain and evolve brand fit standards, ensuring consistency across styles and seasons.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges, balancing design vision with manufacturing feasibility.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and source performance-driven fabrics and trims.
  • Review and interpret testing results to ensure materials meet performance, durability, and sustainability standards.
  • Stay informed on apparel, material, and market trends to drive innovation and product differentiation.
  • Communicate effectively across teams to keep projects on schedule and ensure development goals are met.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with factories, and vendors, both domestic and international.
  • Negotiate timelines, costs, and sample expectations to support quality and efficiency.
  • Provide clear and actionable feedback to vendors to resolve challenges and ensure continuous improvement.
