About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apigee Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing API integration solutions using the Apigee platform. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and develop robust solutions that meet their needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience as an API Developer or System Integrator;
• Proven hands-on experience with the Google Apigee platform is mandatory;
• Strong understanding of API integration concepts and methodologies (e.g., API lifecycle management, data mapping, message transformation, synchronous/asynchronous patterns, etc.);
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for custom policies and extensions is a plus
• Experience with other integration tools like Google Application Integration, Workato, or Boomi is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement APIs and integration solutions, with a strong focus on the Apigee platform;
• Configure and manage API proxies and shared flows to ensure seamless and secure data exchange between systems;
• Develop and maintain reusable API components, policies, and processes;
• Perform data mapping and transformations to ensure data integrity across different systems;
• Test and troubleshoot APIs and integration solutions to identify and resolve issues promptly;
• Document API designs, policies, and implementation details for future reference and maintenance;
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in API management, cloud technologies, and best practices.
