Oracle APEX Developer
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Oracle APEX Developer with expertise in Java and XML to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications on the Oracle APEX platform. This role requires strong knowledge of APEX low-code development, PL/SQL programming, Java-based integrations, and XML for data exchange and configuration. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who can balance declarative APEX features with custom coding when necessary, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience developing applications with Oracle APEX.
• Strong PL/SQL programming skills with experience writing complex packages, triggers, and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) to extend APEX applications.
• Experience integrating APEX with REST/SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency in Java for backend integration and custom functionality.
• Experience working with XML for data exchange and configuration
• US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications.

• Develop custom components and backend integrations using Java.
• Utilize XML for data exchange, configuration, and integration tasks.
• Integrate APEX applications with REST/SOAP APIs and other enterprise systems.

• Extend APEX functionality using web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices.
