About The Position

Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Post House North , a 145-unit community in Jackson. Requirements

• 1+ year of apartment or general maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of: Plumbing (including copper pipe work), Electrical repairs (outlets, fixtures, switches), Appliance repair, Carpentry, drywall & painting, Water heater systems (gas & electric)
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Availability: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM + on-call rotation
• A hands-on skills demonstration will be part of the interview process.
• Pre-employment background and drug screening required (THC not included).

Nice To Haves

• HVAC/EPA/CPO certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests quickly and efficiently
• Turn/make-ready apartment units for new residents
• Perform general maintenance: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances
• Interior/exterior painting and repairs
• Maintain grounds and common areas
• Conduct preventative maintenance
• Keep shop and work areas clean and organized
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule (1 week every 3 weeks)
