About The Position

The Apartment Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for diagnosing and performing repairs across various areas including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and general maintenance. This role involves managing unit turnover processes, overseeing work order systems to ensure timely completion and accurate updates, and conducting regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs. The supervisor will also coordinate and schedule contractors, vendors, and third-party services, execute routine preventative maintenance, and collaborate with the Property Manager on project updates and work order progress. Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational goals is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

  • Willingness to obtain HVAC Certification within 6 months of employment if not already possessed
  • Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Superior customer service skills, with professionalism in handling resident concerns
  • Comfort with technology and work order management systems
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in residential multifamily or facility maintenance

Responsibilities
