About The Position

The Leasing Agent facilitates the rental of apartment units to ensure maximum occupancy at all times. Coordinates move-ins and move-outs, lease negotiations and renewals, and apartment showings. What You’ll Do: Assist prospective residents with leasing inquiries and property tours Process rental applications and lease agreements. Maintain positive relationships with residents and ensure high customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the property management team to meet leasing goals Market available units through online listings, social media, and community outreach Represents Village Green at various outside networking & social functions Problem-solving skills What We’re Looking For: Strong sales and customer service skills (Comfortable talking to anyone) Strong marketing background (social media, networking events, etc.) Experience dealing with challenging or unpleasant situations (billing, medical, etc.) Excellent communication and organizational abilities Creative, outside-the-box thinker who brings new ideas Ability to work independently and in a team environment Experience answering phones Previous leasing or real estate experience is preferred but not required Qualifications Our ideal Sales Associate has 1-3 years of sales experience in a multi-family environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office is ideal. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. The ability to work weekends is necessary. An undergraduate degree is strongly preferred.
