About The Position

Good Greek Moving and Storage is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments. This role requires a proactive individual who can quickly integrate into a fast-paced environment and contribute immediately.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately within QuickBooks.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure all invoices are properly coded, approved, and processed for payment in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions and supporting documentation.
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and resolve billing issues or discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accounts payable reconciliations and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and efficient flow of financial information.
• Prepare, review, and process employee expense reports in compliance with company guidelines.
• Support the accounting team with additional tasks and special projects as needed.
