The Agency of Transportation is looking for a motivated individual to join our Rutland team as a Fleet Service Technician. Starting salary may be negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Incumbents may be required to make emergency road repairs at any time of day and in inclement weather; such work may present additional hazards. Incumbents must be physically able to use tools and lift parts and materials common to working on heavy vehicles and equipment. Incumbents may be exposed to blood or airborne pathogens. Once incumbents have obtained a commercial driver’s license, they are required to participate in a random drug and alcohol-testing program. Overtime work may be required.
