This position provides office support to nursing unit administration and manages Patient Fund Accounts/security of patient clinical record. This position also helps unit program & treatment team per nurse manager's direction. -Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping/fiscal principles and practices related to maintaining a checkbook type record for patients. -Working knowledge of office practices and procedures and maintenance of patient medical records. -Working knowledge of standard English grammar, punctuation and usage, and proper spelling. -Working skill in typing and current office equipment and systems such as personal computer and software including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint which are currently being used. -Demonstrated ability to interpret and follow oral and written rules and regulations and maintain harmonious working relations. -Considerable walking and/or standing, sitting, bending, lifting, visual acuity to work with computer monitor and printouts, and dexterity with hands to use computer keyboard. -Considerable patient contact.
