About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Anti-Drone Specialist to protect our facilities, personnel, and assets from unauthorized or malicious drone activity. This position requires a deep understanding of drone detection, countermeasure systems, and relevant regulations governing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to develop comprehensive strategies to mitigate emerging drone threats.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field preferred.
  • Specialized certifications or training in drone operations, radar systems, RF engineering, or counter-UAV technologies are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3+ years of direct experience with drone detection systems, UAV operations, electronic warfare, or similar security-related roles.
  • Demonstrable track record of implementing or managing counter-drone measures in real-world environments (e.g., critical infrastructure, VIP events, military bases).
  • Proficiency in RF scanning, radar operations, signal analysis, and/or RF jamming techniques.
  • Familiarity with UAV platforms, telemetry, payloads, and flight controls.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to quickly identify and mitigate aerial threats.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional security teams and external agencies.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on documentation, regulatory compliance, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure, especially during high-profile security incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and monitor specialized sensor arrays, radar systems, RF scanners, and other detection technologies to identify and track aerial threats.
  • Analyze flight patterns, payload capabilities, and operator behavior to determine risk levels and appropriate countermeasures.
  • Utilize jamming, spoofing, and other approved counter-drone techniques to neutralize unauthorized UAVs.
  • Collaborate with security teams, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies to ensure all countermeasure activities comply with local laws.
  • Perform site surveys and vulnerability assessments to pinpoint high-risk areas and potential attack vectors.
  • Develop and maintain incident response protocols, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders during emergencies or escalated threats.
  • Keep abreast of evolving FAA, FCC, and other jurisdiction-specific regulations governing drone mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain clear records of all drone-related incidents, detailing detection data, countermeasures deployed, and outcomes for auditing and legal purposes.
  • Provide guidance and hands-on training to security personnel regarding drone detection systems and safe countermeasure use.
  • Continuously research advancements in drone technology and countermeasures to refine and improve anti-drone strategies.
