About The Position

Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for temporary faculty positions (full-time one semester, part-time one semester or part-time academic year) as needs arise in the Anthropology program, which is part of the Department of Anthropology, Criminal Justice, and Sociology. The Anthropology program has four full-time, tenured faculty specializing in the Archaeological, Biological, and Cultural subfields. Responsibilities

• Based on the specific needs of the department at the time of appointment, a successful applicant must be qualified to teach introductory and/or upper-level courses from the required sub-fields of Archaeology, Biological, and Cultural Anthropology.
• The location for this temporary position is multi-campus within Commonwealth University, with the expectation of serving at Bloomsburg University, Lock Haven University, or Mansfield University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
